Saundersfoot will be hosting a series of events during Pembrokeshire Fish Week, as part of Saundersfoot’s Summer Festival by the Sea.
Here's the details of all that's going on for the rest of the week.....
Friday 28th June
Music– Footbridge will be playing 1-3pm at the Harbwr Bar
Saturday 29th June
“Art and Education by the Sea”will be running a beach sculpture workshop. All day event (10-4pm) at Coppet Hall Beach – look for the sculptures to find the workshop.
Creating sculptures with materials found on the beach, inspired by endangered marine species. The larger sculptures will be photographed and left on the beach, forming a sculpture trail for all to enjoy. Your photographs become the lasting artwork as nature reclaims the natural materials.
FOC. Please bring bucket and spade; dress appropriately for the weather.
All ages and abilities welcome. Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult.
Lunch and drinks are available to purchase from the Kiosk (or bring your own)

Saundersfoot’s Pop Up Cinema
Our Free Pop Up Cinema is being held at the Regency Hall, Saundersfoot
Under 14’s need to be accompanied by an adult.
Doors open at 3.30pm. Finding Dory 4-6pm (this showing will still be going ahead)
Fishermans Friends (12A) 6.45 – 9pm (CANCELLED) Due to unavoidable circumstances, we will not be able to go ahead with the showing of Fishermans' Friends
Snacks and refreshments will be on sale before the films start. Free entry, donations appreciated.
Craft Sessions at Dilys’ Photography, High Street 10-3pm
Under 14’s should be accompanied by an adult. Booking advised, but not essential. £5 per person (to cover costs)
Come and try your hand at block lino printing and create a sea themed print (29thJune) – session run by local artist Diana Brook
Music- Vagrants Crewwill be singing 1-3pm at the top of the beach slipway, near the Flagpole. This popular group from West Wales have been together for around 20 years and perform songs of the sea (both accompanied and unaccompanied) although they have a repertoire of many different genres. They have performed at many diverse festivals and venues throughout the UK and Europe. Although their average age is classified information, they are, often described as an “ever so slightly mad, fun loving bunch” who thoroughly enjoy their music, playing and singing their own arrangements of traditional songs in their unique style and fully intend to do so for as long as possible.
FOC – all donations gratefully received and will be given to the RNLI
Music- Edward Owen will be performing at The Old Chemist Inn from 8pm
Cafes, Restaurants and Pubs will have a range of special fish dishes on their menus during Fish Week – you may want to check out:
Kookaba, High Street – from our favourite Australian restaurant: Barramundi – simply grilled; Cockle Popcorn; Mussels in a lime, chilli and coconut broth.
Shoreline Café; Seafood Pizza
Old Chemist Inn: Fillet of plaice served with cockles in white wine and garlic sauce, samphire and choice of potatoes.
Beachside Barbeque – Fresh or Fried Fish Platters
Cwl Box, bottom of beach slipway – will be serving a Herby Crab special along-side their regular menu
Phillys– special crab salad baguette and special prawn salad baguette – both available with Marie Rose sauce sprinkled with sea salt and chilli flakes;
Harold O’Vinegars – the only seafood shop in the village and the place to go if you want to buy shellfish, locally caught crab and lobster. The week’s special will be prawns in a rustic crusty roll with homemade seafood sauce.
Little & Large Lite Bites– Smoked mackerel pate with granary toast, salad garnish and homemade coleslaw.
Marina Fish Chips and More – Fresh fish & chips

The Tramway, The Strand – smoked salmon and cream cheese savoury pancakes
The Kiosk at Coppet Hall will be offering – 100% Pembrokeshire white crab meat (from Little Haven) sandwiches; Fish Finger sandwiches and, fish-shaped doggy treats for your four legged friend!
Fishing & Boat Tripsaboard the Four Brothers – no experience needed as tuition provided. Why not go out to Saundersfoot Bay and try and catch some mackerel.
Sports Fishing trips for Bass, Pollock and Tope aboard the Ebony May – 2 hour trips £20 pp
Saundersfoot Sea Safaris – wildlife trips around the Pembrokeshire coastline. Enjoy the seals, porpoise and sea bird colonies off Caldey and St. Margaret’s Islands.

Litter picking equipment (provided by Keep Wales Tidy) is available all week for anyone who would like to undertake a beach clean – please pop in to Elements of Pembrokeshire, 2 The Strand.
