Due to various factors including the uncertainty of how the pending Saundersfoot Harbour development plans could affect the car park area during the winter of 2019 SCT have decided that we will not be holding a marquee based Festival in December 2019.

However, we will be continuing to 'hold' the same weekend in the 'Pembrokeshire Diary' (i.e. the one that includes the first Friday in December - 6th/7th/8th in 2019) to hold the Lantern Parade and to also support and promote other village based attractions. The Lantern Parade will be held this year on Saturday 7th December (not Friday as in previous years. The village Christmas lights will be erected as usual. Further information, when available, will be on our website and social media.

For December 2020 we are already planning how we could best use the exciting new facilities and attractions that the forthcoming Harbour developments will offer to relaunch a refreshed and unique coastal themed Christmas Festival. It is our intention to make an announcement about the 2020 Christmas Festival (expected to be the weekend of 4th/5th/6th December 2020) by the end of 2019.

If you are interested in helping with any of the plans for Christmas 2019 and/or2020 please do let us know. Small planning groups that are leading on these events will be meeting soon and you (and your ideas) would be very welcome to come along.
