The Big Bang Weekend event is being held again this year on the weekend of Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2015 with lots going on.
The Halloween Trick or Treat Trail involves up to 250 children (must be accompanied by an adult) going to various locations in the village to admire the 'Halloween' displays and receive 'treats'. The Halloween Trail starts from the Sports and Social Club at 6.00pm on Friday night. There will be a disco to follow at around 7.00pm until 9.00pm in The Regency Hall Community Centre. Tickets are £3.00 each available on the night. This is a very popular event and tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
We have a Pumpkin Competition running over the two days. Bring your finished pumpkin to Dilys Photography Gallery on the High Street in Saundersfoot from 10.30am on Friday 30th to be put on display. Judging will take place on Saturday at 7.00pm before the fireworks. There will be prizes available for various age categories with the overall winner receiving a family day pass to Manor Wildlife Park. This event is free to enter.
We will also be running the 'Saundersfoot Spooky Bat Trail' that, similar to the Dragon Trail, involves the 'scariest' of bat figures being secreted in shop windows and businesses of Chamber members for entrants to find with prizes for first correct form drawn. Entry is free and forms are available from the mobile coffee kiosk on the harbour as well as from the Regency Hall Youth Club on Friday night. This will run over the 2 days with the draw taking place around 6:30pm on the Saturday.
